Important Medical Disclaimer

This page provides general educational information and does not constitute medical advice. Your treating physician's personalized aftercare instructions always take priority. If you have specific concerns, or if you feel unwell after a procedure, contact your care team or seek local medical attention promptly.

Stay Hydrated

Drinking plenty of water supports your body's natural recovery processes. Your care team may give you a specific target based on your treatment.

Prioritize Rest

Allow your body time to recover. Adequate sleep and reduced stress in the days following a procedure can support healing.

Eat Supportively

A balanced, nutritious diet helps your body during recovery. Follow any specific dietary guidance provided by your clinician.

Ease Back Into Activity

Avoid strenuous exercise immediately after a procedure unless your medical team advises otherwise. Reintroduce activity gradually as instructed.

Monitor How You Feel

Some mild, temporary effects can occur after certain procedures. Keep a simple note of anything you notice so you can share it at follow-up.

Attend Your Follow-Up

Follow-up contact is an important part of care. It allows your team to check on your progress and answer questions.

When to Contact Your Care Team

Everyone recovers differently, and your clinician will tell you what is expected in your case. As a general rule, reach out to your care team or seek local medical attention if you experience anything that concerns you, anything unexpected, or symptoms that do not settle as your clinician described.

Because our patients travel internationally, we help coordinate follow-up communication so you can stay in contact with the clinical team after you return home.
